This year marks a significant milestone for us at CK Recruitment. A decade of connecting talent with opportunity and shaping successful careers. As we reflect on the journey over the past 10 years, we are filled with gratitude for the incredible clients, candidates, and partners who have supported us along the way. To commemorate this special occasion, we wanted to give back to the community.
In the spirit of celebration and giving, we embarked on a heartful initiative: donating to ten remarkable local charities over ten days. This effort represents not just a token of our appreciation but a commitment to continuing our support for the causes that matter.
Here’s a glimpse into the initiatives that made our 10th anniversary truly memorable:
Day 1: Some of the CK Team are participating in the National Breast Cancer Foundation to Step Up to Breast Cancer. Throughout the month of August, we are walking 57km to represent the 57 Australians diagnosed with breast cancer every day. You can donate to our team by clicking on the link below:

Day 2: Jeans for Genes day where we all supported the cause by purchasing merchandise. Jeans for Genes is a fundraising campaign of Children’s Medical Research Institute and helps find cures for children’s genetic diseases.
Day 3: A donation to Myrtle Cottage in Ingleburn who were a fellow award winner in the Campbelltown Local Business Awards. Myrtle Cottage provide day recreational activities for over 65s and people with a disability.
Day 4: We dropped into the Formal Project in Minto. Everyone in the team brought in one or two forma dresses, shirts or shoes to donate to the Formal Project. The Formal Project provide free formal wear to students graduating for their upcoming formals.
Day 5: CK Recruitment made a donation to Youth Solutions in Campbelltown. Youth Solutions is a youth drug and alcohol prevention and health promotion charity working with young people in Macarthur and Wingecarribee.
Day 6: Our team attended the Kids of Macarthur office to help make book packs for book week. Kids of Macarthur is dedicated to improving health care provisions for every child living in our region.
Day 7: Our team participated in Red Nose Day. Red Nose Day helps raise awareness and funds for SIDS research.
Day 8: We headed out to the Animal Welfare League at Kemps Creek. Animal Welfare League is a registered charity that has been caring for surrendered, neglected and abandoned animals for over 60 years.
Day 9: Was a donation to Meals on Wheels, Campbelltown. Meals on Wheels support and enhance the independence of the aged, younger people with disabilities and their carers by providing nutritious meals.
Day 10: The CK Recruitment team donated groceries to Turning Point in Camden to be distributed to families in need. Turning Point Camden is a not-for-profit community welfare and drop in centre where men and women are empowered to make the necessary changes that will allow them to move forward with their lives.
